Absolutely! If you right click in the Timeline window and choose Timeline Settings. (Project Window | Settings Tab) Go to the Edit Tab and choose the configuration you want for new sequences.
Quad Split is a function of Avid that allows you to view a multigroup in a split screen of 4 rectangles. If you have 4 cameras in your multigroup, it will look like this: If your multigroup has more than 4 cameras, you will only see 4 camera angles at a time and Nine Split
A master clip (without the line) can be one of two things: A clip that is offline. A clip that isn’t on a shared storage system. A master clip (with the line) indicates that the media for that clip is on a shared storage system. This also applies to audio clips and subclips.
