A dog is a man’s best friend but in Avid, what is Fido’s equivalent? Ctrl/Right click! Try it in Avid & you’ll find “hidden stuff”!

Wanna find media or a bin’s location on a drive? Reveal file while in Avid will make all that is lost…found!

Too lazy to go up the menu? Right clicking in an Avid bin to access often used functions such as export or import.

Can’t type 100 wpm? Neither can I but fortunately many word processing shortcuts work in Avid. Copy and Paste are my favorites!

You never know where nicknames come from but someone must have been hungry when they coined the fast menu as the hamburger menu.

Didn’t mean to press that button and now Avid is doing something horrible? Ctrl/Cmd + . (period) stops actions dead in their tracks!

Patience is a virtue.  Especially when you want the name of Avid buttons.  Hold your mouse over the mystery button for the answer. Wait for it!
