Play hide-and-go-seek with Avid! At least with Avid’s tracks.  Click Timeline’s Fast Menu to select/deselect tracks viewed in the sequence!

The Record monitor’s sequence icon is more than a pretty picture.  Drag it to a bin to create a subsequence!

Challenge yourself!  In Composer Settings disable the 1st & 2nd row of buttons displayed under the Source/Record monitors. Don’t be scared!

Wanna see extra footage from that clip in the sequence? Match frame to the original clip. Look for the video frame icon under the Source monitor.

Default Avid timecode window too small? Lessen the strain on your eyes by choosing size from the timecode pop up menu.

Copy a receipt & trash one, you still have one left. Not with Avid! A duplicate links to the original & deleting media makes them both offline!

Hate it when your composer window changes for trimming? Enable Always use Small Trim mode in Trim settings to do it on a smaller scale!
