There are ghosts in your Avid bin! Reveal those “ghostly” clips when you enable Show Reference Clips in Set Bin Display. (Bin Fast menu.)
Save your customized bin view! Choose save as from the bin view pop up menu. A lot easier than choosing new Avid column names all the time!

To lazy to use a menu to change your sequence start time? Avid to the rescue! Change the sequence start time in the start column in the bin.
Got a million bins open & want to close one? Close a specific bin by holding Ctrl & clicking on the bin name in the Avid project window.
Using Avid Superbin and want to copy from one bin to another? Drag the new material to the bin’s name in the Project Window.
Is it a frame or is it video? In a bin’s Frame view it’s both! Click on a frame in the bin, press play & the video will play in the bin!
Don’t like the frame displayed in the Bin with Frame view? Click on the frame & hold KL or KJ to find what you like, then let the keys go!
There is a Title Tool hidden in your bin! Press Ctrl/Cmd + double click on a Title Effect in the bin to launch the Title Tool.
Got bins full of stuff & don’t know what’s is or isn’t in the sequence? Click on the sequence & choose Select Media Relatives from the bin’s Fast menu.
Like to think out of the box? Try thinking in the bin! In Avid, change sequence timecode from the bin by typing in the Start column.
What’s your favorite number? 5? 8? 13? Avid’s 27 so don’t exceed that character maximum when naming bins! (Or else!)
Unnecessary custom column headings cluttering up your bin? Delete them! Click on a heading and press delete and voila it disappears!
