An editor for over a decade, Kyra Coffie has worked for companies that produce programming for TLC, MTV, VH1 networks, and the Discovery Channel.

A native of Washington D.C., Kyra took positions as an assistant editor while breaking into the Los Angeles market. Her editing background allowed her to standardize assistant editing processes resulting in post-production efficiencies and making the process easy to learn. The Avid Assistant Editor’s Handbook is a product of Kyra’s time in LA.
