How do I delete the black from an Autosequence?

Autosequence automatically takes clips and puts them into a sequence at the timecode associated with the clips.  Removing the black (filler) from the sequence would move the clips from their correct timecodes.

A better solution might be to select all of the clips in the bin and drag them to the timeline window.  In this manner, all of the clips will be in the sequence, one after another without any black in-between.  Be careful when doing this because if there are any Mark IN or OUT points on the clips, the entire clips won’t be laid into the sequence.  Also, whatever order the clips are in the bin are the order they will appear in the sequence.
